Spencer boys basketball blows past Gilman for second-straight win

SPENCER – Degan Kind scored 14 points to lead three Spencer players in double figures as the Rockets thumped Gilman 66-45 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division boys basketball game Thursday at Spencer High School.

Jonathan Jonas and Connor Bacon each added 10 points for Spencer, which won its second-straight game and improves to 4-7 overall and 2-3 in the Cloverbelt East.

Caleb Marion had 19 points for Gilman (0-11, 0-5 Cloverbelt East).

Spencer hosts Auburndale for a nonconference game Monday at 7:15 p.m.
