WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Marshfield gymnastics team had six top-two finishes and went on to win a triangular meet of Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens Point on Thursday at Lincoln High School.
Ellie Jensen won the uneven bars (8.75) and the all-around title (35.0) for the Tigers, who racked up 134.675 points. Wisconsin Rapids was second with 133.325 and Stevens Point third with 131.7.
Phoebe Hernandez won the floor exercise (9.2) and was second in the vault (8.8), Jensen also finished second in both the floor exercise (9.0) and the balance beam (8.75), and Solenne Lonsdale was runner-up in the uneven bars (8.45) for the Tigers.
Marshfield will compete at the Westby Quad on Saturday.
