Spencer girls basketball loses nonconference game at Almond-Bancroft

ALMOND – Almond-Bancroft outscored Spencer by double digits in both halves to defeat the Rockets 59-34 in a nonconference girls basketball game Monday at Almond-Bancroft High School.

Autumn Davis scored 12 points and Claudia Krause added seven for Spencer, which falls to 2-20 this season.

Aaliah Newby and Lexie Dernbach each scored 13 points to lead Almond-Bancroft (20-3).

Spencer will wrap up its regular-season schedule Thursday as it hosts the eighth-place game of the Cloverbelt Conference crossovers against Thorp.
