STRATFORD – The No. 6 seed Stratford girls basketball team dominated the first half and rolled to a 56-21 win over No. 11 Weyauwega-Fremont in a WIAA Division 4 regional quarterfinal Tuesday night at Stratford High School.

The Tigers (11-13) move on to a D-4 regional semifinal at No. 3 Wittenberg-Birnamwood (20-3) on Friday at 7 p.m.

Stratford pushed out to a commanding 29-9 lead by halftime and were able to finish off the win, holding the Warhawks (4-18) to just seven made field goals in the gam.e

Lauren Kraus had 14 points and six rebounds, and Bailey Linzmaier added 13 pints for the Tigers, who had nine different players hit the scoring column.
