OSSEO – Osseo-Fairchild held Columbus Catholic to just two hits and defeated the Dons 10-0 in a nonconference baseball game Tuesday at Merchants Field.

Osseo-Fairchild (1-1) scored twice in the first inning and added six more in the second to open up a big lead and the Dons could never get their offense going.

Cy Becker and Blake Jakobi each had a single to account for Columbus Catholic’s only hits as it lost its 2023 season opener.

Columbus Catholic had its games Thursday against Gilman and Friday against Loyal postponed. The Dons’ next scheduled game is Monday at home against Stevens Point Pacelli.
