MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield boys tennis team opened its Wisconsin Valley Conference schedule with a dominating 7-0 sweep of Wisconsin Rapids on Thursday at the Boson Tennis Complex.
Kai Rens, Dillon Scheuer, Will Jepson and Antonio Koehn swept the singles matches for the Tigers. Marshfield won all three doubles matches by forfeit.
Marshfield will compete at the Stevens Point Invitational on Saturday.

Doubles: 1. Ryan Grassman-Peter Tompkins (MAR) won by forfeit; 2. Richard Gui-Hudson Tompkins (MAR) won by forfeit; 3. Kevin Buth-Rahul Dissenyake (MAR) won by forfeit.
