Spencer baseball whips Owen-Withee in Cloverbelt East opener

OWEN – Reed Knecht allowed just one hit in five innings and drove in four runs to help lift the Spencer baseball team to a 12-1 win over Owen-Withee in its Cloverbelt Conference East Division opener Friday.

Knecht and Madden Prybylski each had two hits, and Andrew Sieracki and Luke Roehrborn both had two RBI for the Rockets (3-2 overall).

Knecht allowed one unearned run and struck out eight with only one walk to earn the win for Spencer.

Spencer hosts Loyal on Monday, weather permitting.
