MARSHFIELD – Aubree Itzen hit a pair of home runs, including a grand slam in the first inning, as Stevens Point shut out Marshfield 10-0 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference softball game Tuesday at Madison Field.

Stevens Point pitcher Maren Sauvageau limited Marshfield to two hits and did not walk a batter while striking out 10.

Kaitlyn Klismith had a single, a double and a triple as well for the Panthers, who are now 12-7 overall and 8-2 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.

Marshfield drops to 8-7 overall and 4-6 in the Valley.

The Tigers return to action Thursday at Wausau East.
