ADAMS – Spencer scored four times in the top of the first inning but couldn’t hold on as Adams-Friendship erupted to a 17-7 victory in a nonconference baseball game Monday at Adams-Friendship Middle School.

The Green Devils (15-11) scored multiple runs in all five of their at-bats, ending the game due to the 10-run rule with a five-run fifth inning. Spencer pitchers combined for 10 walks and A-F also had 10 hits.

Luke Roehrborn and Carter Luepke each had two hits, with Luepke driving in three to leave the Spencer offense.

Spencer (11-9) finishes its regular season at Wittenberg-Birnamwood on Tuesday.
