KIMBERLY – Marshfield had four undefeated wrestlers and went 4-1 Saturday to finish second at the Battle on the Fox Duals Tournament at Kimberly High School.
The Tigers beat Tri-County 58-22, Menomonee Falls 73-6, Kimberly 57-12, and Freedom 36-30, before losing in the championship match to Owatonna, Minn. 52-15.
Daniel Barton (135 pounds), Torin Boernke (140), Josh Shupe (145) and Brad Dolezal (160) each went 5-0 for Marshfield. Shupe, Dolezal and Boernke are now each 11-0 this season.
Toran Nieman (119) and Kyler Strobel (152) both went 4-1 for the Tigers.
Marshfield is off until the Bi-State Tournament in La Crosse on Dec. 28-29.
