FOND DU LAC – The Marshfield Junior Legion baseball team was swept in a nonconference doubleheader at Fond du Lac on Saturday, losing 3-0 and 10-0.
Marshfield had six hits in the opening game, but couldn’t get any runs across. Jakob Sadowska had two hits for the Devils.
Bryce Schade allowed three runs and three hits in 5 2/3 innings, striking out eight for Marshfield.
Marshfield was held to two hits in the second game as Fond du Lac used a five-run second inning to pull away.
Easton Ledden and Mason Anderson each had singles in the loss for the Junior Devils (8-10).
Marshfield hosts Stevens Point at 5 p.m. Monday at Jack Hackman Field. The Senior Legion game between to the two teams will follow at approximately 8 p.m.
