WESTON – The Marshfield Post 54 Senior American Legion baseball team snapped an nine-game losing streak with a 10-7 win over D.C. Everest in a Wisconsin Valley Legion Conference matchup Tuesday night at Simon Field.

Marshfield trailed 6-4 through five innings before exploding for a six-run sixth and held on the rest of the way to improve to 4-15 overall and 2-7 in the WVLC this summer.

Sloan Welch scored on an error, Ben Dietsche had an RBI single, Chase Robinson scored on a wild pitch, and Aden Cherney had a three-run double to account for Marshfield’s six runs in the sixth.
