Marshfield girls tennis drops tight match at Bay Port

SUAMICO – The Marshfield girls tennis team dropped a tight 4-3 match to Bay Port on Tuesday.

Marshfield picked up a pair of wins in doubles as the No. 1 team of Sophia Morrell and Ava Paape won a three-set match 7-6, 3-6, 10-8, and the No. 2 team of Audrey Luedtke and Maddie Kundinger won in straight sets 7-6, 6-4.

Lillian Griesbach earned the other victory for the Tigers, winning her No. 3 singles match 6-4, 6-3.

Marshfield will compete at the Eau Claire Memorial Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
