Auburndale football blasts Milwaukee Hamilton

AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale football team started its season in dominating fashion as it scored six first-quarter touchdowns and rolled to a 63-0 nonconference win over Milwaukee Hamilton on Friday at Auburndale High School.

Quarterback Kaden Anderson ran for two touchdowns and threw for two more in the opening quarter of the season as the Eagles cruised out to a 42-0 lead.

Auburndale added another three scores in the third quarter.

Colton Weiler and Logan Nagel both had fumble recoveries for touchdowns for the Eagles’ defense, which held Hamilton to minus 5 total yards.

Auburndale hosts Big Foot for another nonconference contest next Friday, Aug. 25, at Auburndale High School starting at 6 p.m.
