KRONENWETTER – Alex Edwards had four goals and the Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys soccer team pitched its third-straight shutout in a 6-0 victory over Northland Lutheran in a Central Wisconsin Conference matchup Thursday at Northland Lutheran High School.

Edwards scored three goals in the first 27 minutes of the game and added another 3:50 into the second half as the Dons cruised to their fourth win in a row.

Charlie Moore assisted on Edwards’ second goal and also score himself in the 46th minute for Columbus Catholic (5-1-1 overall, 2-0 Central Wisconsin Conference).

Cole Wallace had the Dons’ other goal, coming with just 1:16 to go in the first half.

Columbus Catholic hosts Gresham/Bowler for another CWC game Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Griese Park.
