ANTIGO – The Marshfield Middle School girls tennis team prevailed in a close triangular over Rhinelander and Antigo on Tuesday at Antigo High School.

Marshfield finished with 10 wins, Rhinelander had nine and Antigo six.

Singles winners for Marshfield were: Nileya Carrera, Shannon Davis, Gideon Jones, Vanessa Holtey, Isabella Cui and Avery Stichert. Winning doubles matches for the Tigers were the teams of Sylvia Lee and Sadie Karau, Jones and Lee, Cielo Xolio-Temich and Evie Bennett, and Alayna Kober and Stichert.

Marshfield will compete at a quadrangular on Thursday at Wisconsin Rapids Middle School. P.J. Jacobs and Ben Franklin middle schools of Stevens Point will also be at the meet.
