STEVENS POINT – Marshfield won three events in a 114-55 loss to Stevens Point in a Wisconsin Valley Conference girls swim meet Thursday at Stevens Point Area Senior.
Brooke Begotka won the 100-yard butterfly in 1:01.44 and the 100 breaststroke in the 1:11.00, and Ireland Moran was first in the 50 freestyle in 25.76 for Marshfield’s three event wins.
Terra Risa added a second-place finish in the 200 individual medley in 2:27.79 and Moran was runner-up in the 100 backstroke in 1:02.60 as well for the Tigers.
Moran, Begotka, Risa and Shiloh Smith were second in the 200 medley relay in 1:57.97, and Begotka, Ryann Kilty, Ella Allar and Smith were second in the 200 freestyle relay in 1:55.06 for Marshfield.
Stevens Point is now 4-0 and Marshfield falls to 1-3 in WVC dual meets this fall.
Marshfield hosts Wausau West on Tuesday.
