Spencer girls basketball earns road win at Thorp, snaps four-game losing streak

THORP – The Spencer girls basketball team held Thorp to just two made baskets from the field in the second half and held on for a 42-27 nonconference win on Tuesday at Thorp High School.

The Rockets doubled up Thorp in the first half, running out to a 28-14 lead, and held on from there to snap their four-game losing skid and improve to 2-4 this season.

Alexa Weber scored 10 points, Alexis Mlsna added nine and Autumn Davis had eight for Spencer.

Spencer will play a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game at Colby on Thursday.
