BLACK RIVER FALLS – The Stratford boys basketball team cruised out to 17-point lead by halftime and held on the rest of the way to defeat Black River Falls 58-38 in a nonconference game Saturday at Black River Falls High School.

Stratford led 35-18 at the break and was able to maintain its big lead the rest of the way, improving to 9-3 this season.

Henry Zaleski had 13 points, and Kaden Foster added 11 points and 10 rebounds for Stratford.

Stratford hits the road again Monday for another nonconference game at Stanley-Boyd.
