Columbus Catholic boys basketball dominates Spencer

SPENCER – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team remained undefeated in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division and completed a season-sweep of Spencer as the Dons cruised to a 70-26 victory Friday night at Spencer High School.

The Dons had 12 players find the scoring column in the win, led by senior Charlie Moore’s 13 points. Emmitt Konieczny added 10 points for Columbus Catholic (14-1, 8-0 Cloverbelt East).

Sam Bezlyk led Spencer (5-9, 2-6 Cloverbelt East) with eight points.

Both teams play nonconference games Monday as Columbus Catholic travels to Stevens Point Pacelli and Spencer will play at Rib Lake.
