ANTIGO – Solenne Lonsdale won the uneven bars and finished fourth in the all-around to help the Marshfield gymnastics team to a third-place finish at the Julie Langseth Gymnastics Invitational on Saturday at Antigo High School.
Lonsdale won the bars with a score of 8.95 and took seventh in the balance beam with an 8.5 on her way to an all-around score of 34.1, tying teammate Abby Pietsch for fourth.
Pietsch had a runner-up finish in the floor exercise (8.95), and took fifth in both the uneven bars (8.45) and the vault (8.8) for the Tigers.
West Bend West won the team title with 137.2 points, with Marshfield third at 134.675.
Antigo, Ashland, Mosinee, Rhinelander, Rice Lake and Waupun will compete at the Marshfield Invitational next Saturday, Feb. 3. Competition begins at 10 a.m.
