The Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association recently announced its annual senior All-Star Game rosters earlier this week for this summer’s games.

The five girls games will be played on June 17 and the boys games on June 18 at the University of Wisconsin Fieldhouse in Madison.

A number of local players and coaches were named to the teams, which are divided by division and pit North teams against South teams.

Marshfield’s Cale Zuiker, a unanimous first-team all-Wisconsin Valley Conference selection and a Youngstown State University recruit, will play for the Division 1 North team.

Auburndale’s C.J. Castellano, a Marawood Conference South Division first-team choice, will play for his coach, Chad Weinfurter, for the Division 4 North team.

Two Marshfield Columbus Catholic seniors will also play for their coach. Jared Boyle and Travis Pischel are among the players on the Division 5 North team, which will be coached by Dons head coach Joe Konieczny and assistant Nick Kumm.

Auburndale seniors Liz Breu and Kelly Tomfohrde will play for the Division 4 North girls team.

Businesses and individuals are asked to donate money on behalf of the players and coaches. There are varying levels of donations, which are explained by clicking on the All-Star Donations link at www.wisbca.org. People may choose which players and coaches they donate to by clicking on the All-Star Rosters link and finding their favorite players.
