Stratford volleyball sweeps Columbus Catholic in nonconference match

MARSHFIELD – Megan Wussow and MacKenzie Horan each had seven kills to lead the Stratford volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep of Marshfield Columbus Catholic in a nonconference volleyball match Monday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

Stratford won the match 25-13, 25-10, 25-13.

Horan added eight assists and seven digs, Amber Schneider had a team-high 28 assists, and Rachel Ludwig had six kills and 24 digs for the Tigers.

Stratford (1-2 overall) opens its Marawood Conference South Division season at home against Pittsville on Tuesday, while Columbus (0-4) plays another nonconference match at home against Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Thursday in its next match.
