Spencer girls basketball drops road game at Greenwood

GREENWOOD – Greenwood opened up a double-digit lead by halftime and went on to defeat Spencer 55-31 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball game Thursday night at Greenwood High School.

Greenwood led 30-18 at halftime and put the game away in the second half, holding the Rockets to 13 points.

Autumn Davis had 10 points and Ema Schultz scored six for Spencer, which drops to 5-13 overall and 1-10 in the Cloverbelt East.

Tysen Lindner led Greenwood (15-6, 9-4 Cloverbelt East) with 15 points.

Spencer’s next game is Monday at home against Marshfield Columbus Catholic.
