GREENWOOD – The Stratford boys basketball team started a string of five-straight road games with a resounding victory Monday night, blasting Greenwood 64-18 in a nonconference matchup at Greenwood High School.

The Tigers bolted out to a 39-9 lead by halftime and finished off the win, improving to 15-5 overall with their fourth win in the last five games. Greenwood remains winless at 0-18.

Brady Schmidt hit four 3-pointers to account for his team-high 12 points, sophomore Brady Berg added 11 points and Henry Zaleski scored 10 for Stratford.

Stratford is back in action Friday with a Marawood Conference crossover game at North Division-leading Rib Lake.
