Columbus Catholic track earns seven top-10 finishes at UW-River Falls indoor meet

RIVER FALLS – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic track & field teams competed at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Indoor Invitational on Tuesday, earning a number of top-10 finishes.

Junior Aubrey Waldhauser finished runner-up in the high jump (4 feet, 10 inches) and fourth in the pole vault (7-9); freshman Azariah Hoffmann finished behind Waldhauser in the pole vault, taking sixth place (6-9), and also notched a 10th-place finish in the 60-meter dash (8.60 seconds), and Hailey Hargraves placed ninth in the high jump (4-0) to lead the Columbus girls.

Senior Seth Roewe finished fifth in the pole vault (9-0) and sixth in the 800 meters (2:20.24) for the Columbus boys team.

In all, Dons athletes broke 17 personal records on the evening.

Columbus Catholic will compete at the Rosholt Indoor Invitational on Saturday at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
