Spencer volleyball rolls past Granton

SPENCER – Courtney Schulz had 13 kills and Kyleigh Hebert had 22 assists to lead the Spencer volleyball team to a 3-0 rout of Granton in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division match Tuesday night at Spencer High School.

The Rockets won the match 25-5, 25-4, 25-8, for their fifth straight Cloverbelt East victory. Spencer improves to 22-5 overall and 5-1 in the conference.

Tara Matter and Aubrie Bissonette each added seven kills and Dani Johnson had nine digs defensively for Spencer.

“We played a solid match all the way,” Spencer coach Buff Heller said. “We stayed focused and strong no matter who was in the game. It was a fun way to start homecoming week.”

Spencer plays at Loyal on Thursday.
