Columbus Catholic boys tennis sweeps pair of matches from Phillips

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys tennis team won a pair of dual meets over Phillips on Thursday – its first two victories of the Great Northern Conference season.

The Dons won the meets 4-3 and 5-2 to improve to 2-8 in the conference. Phillips falls to 0-10.

Matt Drexler, Ben Behling, Zack Drexler and the No. 1 doubles team of Lucas Michalik and Finn O’Neill each were a perfect 2-0 for Columbus Catholic.

Columbus competes at the Great Northern Conference Tournament on Friday at Lakeland High School in Minocqua.
