Columbus Catholic baseball shut out by Owen-Withee

MARSHFIELD – Owen-Withee used a four-run fifth inning to push past Marshfield Columbus Catholic 5-0 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division baseball game Friday at Jack Hackman Field.

The game was scoreless through four innings before the Blackhawks pushed through for four runs against Columbus pitcher Jeremy Binder. Owen-Withee added another run in the sixth and Steve Esker preserved the shutout, limiting the Dons to six hits.

Columbus (5-11, 5-9 Cloverbelt East) hosts Spencer on Tuesday.
