PRENTICE – Prentice scored eight runs in the bottom of the first inning to open up a big lead and blow past Marshfield Columbus Catholic 15-3 in a WIAA Division 4 baseball regional quarterfinal Friday.
Prentice added four runs in the third and three in the fourth to end the game in 4½ innings.
The Dons’ season ends with an 8-13 record.
Prentice (9-10) moves on to play Rib Lake (15-3) in a Division 4 regional semifinal on Tuesday.
