The Marshfield JV volleyball team won a pair of tournaments on the past two Saturdays, winning the Sparta Invitational and Wausau West Invitational.
At Sparta on Sept. 15, the Tigers went 7-1 to take first place.
Natalie Zuelke had 14 kills and two blocks, Sara Dassler had a team-high 26 assists, Ellie Fehrenbach added 23 assists and two blocks, Morgan McHugh chipped in with 11 aces and Morgan O’Reily led the Marshfield defense with 17 digs.
This past Saturday, Marshfield finished 9-1 to take first at Wausau West.
Lauren Gilbertson topped the Tigers with 27 kills and five blocks, Zuelke had 19 kills and four blocks and Fehrenbach had 18 kills and six aces. Dassler again led Marshfield with 53 assists and Jenny Scheppler had a team-high 16 digs.
Marshfield is 16-0 in match play and will host Stevens Point on Thursday.
