Marshfield boys hockey team whips Black River Falls, grabs first win of season

TOMAH – The Marshfield boys hockey team netted its first win of the season, beating Black River Falls 8-3 on Saturday at the Tomah Invitational.

Zach Leggon had three goals and two assists and Bryce Gadke had a pair of goals to lead the Marshfield attack.

Jake Andreae, Jacob Draves and Bobby Leggon each added goals for the Tigers, who improve to 1-1.

Adding assists for the Tigers were Andreae, Daves, Bobby Leggon, Nelson Spindler and Cole Irish.

Austin Pickhard had 14 saves in goal for Marshfield.

The Tigers play at Rhinelander on Tuesday.
