AUBURNDALE – Coming off a hard-fought, five-game loss to Wausau Newman Catholic on Tuesday, the Auburndale volleyball team made quick work of Rib Lake on Thursday.
The Apaches won 25-5, 25-15, 25-7, to win the nonconference match at Auburndale High School.
Taylor Gotz and Shannon Yahnke each had eight kills, and Kendra Kundinger had 21 assists to lead the Auburndale offense.
The Apaches had 13 service aces in the three games, six by Jenna Peplinski. Hannah Castellano paced the defense with 24 digs.
Auburndale will compete at the Berlin Tournament on Saturday and returns to Marawood Conference South Division match Tuesday at home against Wisconsin Rapids Assumption.
