STRATFORD – The Stratford boys basketball team’s scheduled 2013-14 season opener on Tuesday at Amherst has been postponed.
The game will be played on Dec. 6 at Amherst. The game was moved due to Amherst’s late run in the WIAA football playoffs. The Falcons lost a Division 5 state semifinal to Stanley-Boyd 28-21 last Friday, a week after knocking out Stratford in a Level 3 game.
The Tigers will now open their season Thursday with a nonconference home game against Chequamegon.
