Marshfield boys basketball knocks off D.C. Everest

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield boys basketball team knocked off D.C. Everest 54-46 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference matchup Tuesday night at Marshfield High School.

Luke Zuiker scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Tigers.

Marshfield improves to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference. Everest is now 3-3 and 1-1 in the conference.

Marshfield is at Wausau East on Friday. The game will be broadcast on WDLB-AM 1450 and wdlbwosq.com.

Marshfield outscored D.C. Everest 13-6 in the first quarter and held on from there.

Alex Strege added 13 points and Matt Oestreich had 12 points and seven rebounds for the Tigers.
