Spencer boys basketball dominates Greenwood

GREENWOOD – Spencer held Greenwood to a poultry 17 percent shooting and cruised to a 54-29 win over the Indians in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division boys basketball game Thursday night at Greenwood High School.

The Rockets pulled out to a 22-10 lead by halftime and continued to push the lead in the second half.

Bobby Pilz had 16 points and Joe Meyers added 15 for Spencer, which improves to 8-2 overall and in the Cloverbelt East.

Greenwood (5-8, 4-6 Cloverbelt East) made just 8 of 46 shots from the field and was 1 of 14 from 3-point range in the loss.

Spencer hosts Abbotsford on Monday.
