The WIAA released its brackets for the upcoming 2014 WIAA Girls Basketball Tournament.
Regional quarterfinals are set for March 4, with regional semifinals on March 7 and regional finals on March 8. Sectionals are set for March 13 and March 15.
The 2014 WIAA State Girls Basketball Tournament will be held March 20-22 at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
Locally, the Marshfield girls are the No. 4 seed in its half of the Division 1 Sectional 1 bracket. The Tigers (14-7) will host No. 5 Eau Claire Memorial (15-4) in a regional semifinal on Friday, March 7, at 7 p.m.
In Division 4, Auburndale (12-8) is the No. 5 seed and will host No. 12 Crivitz (3-17) in a regional quarterfinal at 7 p.m. March 4.
Stratford (8-11) is the No. 7 seed in the same Division 4 Sectional 2 bracket and will host No. 10 Spencer (5-14) in a regional quarterfinal at 7 p.m. March 4.
Marshfield Columbus Catholic (8-11) is the No. 4 seed in its half of the Division 5 Sectional 2 bracket. The Dons will host No. 5 Pittsville (5-13) in a regional quarterfinal at 7 p.m. March 4.
