SPENCER – The Spencer softball team won for the third straight time, routing Stanley-Boyd 17-11 in a nonconference game Monday at ARC Park.

The Rockets evened their record at 3-3 overall and have scored 64 runs during their three-game winning streak. Spencer returns to Cloverbelt Conference East Division action at Greenwood on Thursday.

Stanley-Boyd led 6-3 after scoring three times in the top of the fourth only to see Spencer storm back with a nine-run bottom of the fourth to take control. The Rockets scored four more times in the sixth to provide the final margin.

Monica Stange had three hits and four RBIs, and Dominique Stange added two hits and two RBIs for the Rockets. Krystal Weier scored four times and Paige Johnson had three runs scored.
