Columbus Catholic boys basketball routs Granton

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team made quick work of Granton, rolling out to a big halftime lead before finishing off a 78-23 victory on Tuesday at Columbus Catholic High School.

The Dons led 59-7 at halftime as they rolled to their 10th-straight Cloverbelt Conference East Division victory and improve to 13-2 overall. Granton is now 0-12 and 0-9 in conference action.

Nick Malovrh had 16 points, Nick Hutchison added 14, and Noah Hansen scored 12 for the Dons.

Columbus Catholic returns to action next Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Owen-Withee.
