STRATFORD – Kayleigh Kundiner had 37 assists, Kari Willfahrt had 15 kills and 13 digs, and Liz Breu added 12 kills to lift the Auburndale volleyball team to its second 3-0 sweep of the young Marawood Conference South Division season on Tuesday.
The Apaches downed Stratford 25-19, 25-21, 25-16, to improve 2-0 in conference play. Stratford falls to 1-1.
Amber Schneider had 16 assists and six kills for Stratford, which also got six kills and 12 digs from Hilary Belter. Rachel Ludwig added 12 digs and three service aces for the Tigers.
Kimberly Masephol led the Apaches’ defense with 16 digs. Kayla Nikolay added 14 digs and Willfahrt had 13.
Stratford will be at the Auburndale Invitational on Saturday. The two teams return to Marawood action next Tuesday with Auburndale playing at Edgar and Stratford traveling to Marathon.
