Prentice cruises past Spencer volleyball

SPENCER – The Spencer volleyball team struggled offensively and lost 3-0 to Prentice in a nonconference match Tuesday night at Spencer High School.

Spencer’s originally-scheduled match against Loyal on Tuesday was postponed.

Prentice won 25-4, 25-12, 25-5.

The Rockets had just six kills in the match, with Madison Knecht and Beeca Mlsna each having two. Zalexis Mannigel had four assists and five digs, and Post had a team-high eight digs for Spencer.

Spencer (0-4) hosts Greenwood for a Cloverbelt Conference East Division match on Thursday at 7 p.m.
