Stratford boys basketball clips Wittenberg-Birnamwood to win home holiday tournament

STRATFORD – Jake Skroch and Camden Daul each scored 14 points to lead the Stratford boys basketball team to a 48-44 win over Wittenberg-Birnamwood in the championship game of the Stratford Holiday Tournament on Wednesday at Stratford High School.

Skroch and Daul combined to go 12-for-21 from the field to lead the Tigers’ offense. The rest of the team was only 5-for-18.

Daul also added eight rebounds, and Max Vanderhoof had six points and five assists for Stratford.

Stratford (3-3) returns to action Monday with a nonconference home game against Owen-Withee.
