APPLETON – Four divisional state champions were crowned at the 2021 WIAA State Baseball Tournament at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, which was held from June 28-July 1.
Boyceville (21-1) won its first-ever state title with a 4-0 shutout of Rosholt in the Division 4 final on June 28.
Denmark (31-1) also claimed its first state baseball title with a 4-1 win over Jefferson to claim the Division 2 crown on June 30.
Kenosha St. Joseph (24-1) earned the third state championship in program history with a 7-1 rout of Coleman in the Division 3 final on June 29. St. Joseph also won Division 3 titles in 2005 and 2006.
Sun Prairie (29-2) added to its record of state baseball titles by winning its ninth Division 1 championship with an 11-2 victory over Bay Port on July 1.
