STEVENS POINT – Plover scored five runs in the first inning and exploded for 10 more in the third on its way to a 16-1 rout of Marshfield in a 17U Junior Legion baseball regional game Saturday at Bukolt Park.
Marshfield (10-13) allowed 14 hits and committed four errors in the loss. The Blue Devils will play Wausau in an elimination game at noon Sunday.
Ben Dietsche had two hits for Marshfield.
