Stratford girls basketball scratches out win at Colby

COLBY – The Stratford girls basketball team won its fourth-straight game, downing Colby 39-29 in a nonconference game Tuesday at Colby High School.

Lauren Kraus had another double-double for the Tigers (5-4), with 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Alexis Vanderhoof led Colby (1-8) with nine points.

Stratford will play Shullsburg in a semifinal of the Shullsburg Holiday Tournament on Dec. 29 at 7:45 p.m. Colby is off until Jan. 3 when it hosts Rib Lake for a nonconference game.
