AUBURNDALE – Alex Willfahrt poured in 26 points to lift the Auburndale boys basketball team to a 61-50 win over Chequamegon in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday at Auburndale High School.
The win is the Eagles’ fourth in a row as they improve to 5-6 overall and 3-4 in the Marawood South. Chequamegon suffered just its second loss of the season, falling to 9-2 and 4-2 in the Marawood North.
Willfahrt was 9-for-20 from the field and made five of nine 3-point attempts for Auburndale.
Trayton Weber added 11 points in the win for the Eagles.
Auburndale plays at Edgar on Tuesday.
