Auburndale girls basketball routs Chequamegon

AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale girls basketball team held Chequamegon to four made baskets and went on to a dominating 67-10 win in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday night at Auburndale High School.

Auburndale led 44-5 at halftime as it rolled to the victory and improves to 9-3 overall and 6-1 in the Marawood South. Chequamegon remains winless, falling to 0-12 and 0-6 in the Marawood North.

Annamarie Aue had 12 points, Ashlyn Grimm scored 11, and Gracie Krings had 10 for Auburndale.

Auburndale plays a nonconference game at Nekoosa on Tuesday.
