MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Middle School girls tennis hosted its first triangular of the season at the Boson Court Complex on Thursday and established a 1-1 record in the conference play.

The Tigers defeated Wisconsin Rapids 6-4 and lost to Stevens Point St. Peters 5-4.

All 17 players on the Marshfield Middle School team played in the event: Jasmine Buth, Nileya Carrera, Rhyan Costa, Shannon Davis, Greta Frye, Lilly Griesbach, Vanessa Holtey, Alyana Kober, Maddie Kundinger, Sylvia Lee, Trinity Lenzo, Audrey Luedtke, Sophia Rosandich, Talia Soskos, Clara Tompkins, Edyn Vechinski and Katie Winder.

Marshfield will compete at James Williams Middle School in Rhinelander for a dual meet on Tuesday at 4:15 p.m.
