MARSHFIELD – Marshfield won seven of the 11 events but fell short in the overall scoring, losing a nonconference girls swimming dual meet to La Crosse Logan/Central 95-71 on Tuesday at Marshfield High School.
Faith Risa won the 200-yard individual medley (2:19.06) and the 100 breaststroke (1:11.36), Terra Risa won the 100 backstroke (1:04.58), Skyler Onsager was first in the 50 freestyle (25.63) and Brooke Begotka won the 100 butterfly (1:03.34) for Marshfield.
The Tigers also won two relays as the 200 medley relay team of Terra Risa, Faith Risa, Begotka and Onsager won in 1:57.28, and the 200 freestyle team of Begotka, Ella Allar, Faith Risa and Onsager was first in 1:47.30.
Marshfield will be at home against Thursday for a Wisconsin Valley Conference matchup with Wausau East starting at 5:30 p.m.
