Columbus Catholic volleyball cruises past Colby, moves to 4-0 in Cloverbelt East

MARSHFIELD – The Columbus Catholic volleyball team swept its fourth-straight match in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division to stay on top of the standings as it defeated Colby 3-0 on Tuesday at Columbus Catholic High School.

Columbus Catholic won 25-14, 25-9, 25-9, to improve to 4-0 in the Cloverbelt East. Colby is now 2-2.

Izzy Hoglund had 15 digs, Courtney Sommer had 16 assists, six kills and five service aces, Aaliyah Krenn had nine kills and three blocks, and Jenna Kibbel added eight kills and 12 digs for the Dons.

Gracie Wilczek chipped in six digs, Mattea Schlafke had five digs and three aces, and Lily Stratman had eight assists as well for Columbus.

The Dons play at Greenwood on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
